All three actors also took part in a joint Ask-Me-Anything session<\/a> over on Reddit last night, where they each revealed their favorite horror movies, actors, and filmmakers.<\/p>\n

Weaving answers on Reddit, \u201cAll-time is hard. Maybe M. Night\u2019s The Sixth Sense? I enjoy his movies. More recently. I did LOVE [28 Years Later:] The Bone Temple.\u201d<\/p>\n

Weaving\u2019s horror idols? \u201cJamie Lee Curtis & Courteney Cox.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathryn Newton\u2019s favorite horror movies?<\/p>\n

Newton responds, \u201cI really love Jennifer\u2019s Body. It was one of the first horrors I saw in theaters and I was terrified, mortified, scared, and excited all at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennifer\u2019s Body was written by Diablo Cody, it\u2019s interesting to note, who more recently wrote the horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein<\/a>. The star of that movie? Kathryn Newton!<\/p>\n

Newton\u2019s horror idols? \u201cSamara Weaving of course,\u201d she lovingly answers on Reddit. \u201cDrew Barrymore too. Nicolas Cage. He\u2019s so good in horror. His unhinged and weird characters are the best. Insane performance in Longlegs<\/a>. Some of it is too scary for me though.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elijah Wood\u2019s favorite horror movies?<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn Carpenter\u2019s The Thing,\u201d Wood answers. \u201cFor a newer one, Weapons is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Elijah Wood\u2019s horror idols? He responds, \u201cI\u2019m thinking of filmmakers like [Dario] Argento, John Carpenter, Wes Craven, David Cronenberg, [Alfred] Hitchcock, Mario Bava. So many new folks too. Zach Cregger, crushing it.\u201d<\/p>\n
