Tiger Woods<\/a> and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren<\/a>, reunited to celebrate their son, Charlie, winning a state championship at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n

The pair attended Charlie\u2019s ring ceremony, joining him on stage<\/a> for a photo in front of a school-branded backdrop.<\/p>\n

Charlie, 17, appears to be following in his dad\u2019s footsteps in golf, though he is still an amateur. He earned his first American Junior Golf Association tournament win in May 2025, winning the Team TaylorMade Invitational. That summer, he placed ninth in the Junior PGA Championship.<\/p>\n

Earlier in February, Charlie committed to play golf at Florida State University beginning in 2027. Tiger, 50, played golf at Stanford University, where his and Nordegren\u2019s daughter, Sam, 18, is a freshman.<\/p>\n

“It’s been very different, the recruiting process,” Tiger told ESPN<\/a> in December 2025. “Now, you have cellphones. We didn’t have cellphones. We would have written letters that would show up in the mailbox. It’s just very different how fast coaches can communicate with the family members and the player that they’re trying to recruit.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, “It’s just a different world. Not saying it’s good or bad, it’s just different.”<\/p>\n

The father-son duo have also competed together, including at the PNC Championship in 2024. Though they didn\u2019t win the tournament, it meant Tiger was on-hand to see Charlie hit his first hole-in-one.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of the highlights that we\u2019ve ever had,\u201d Tiger told NBC Sports at the time. \u201cWe were talking on the hole previous, he made his first eagle. And now he just made his first hole-in-one. It was a magical two hole stretch. I\u2019m just so happy for him and for the enjoyment that we had as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tiger and Nordegren, 46, married in 2004 but divorced in 2010 when it was revealed that Tiger was carrying on multiple affairs.<\/p>\n

Nordegren is now in a relationship with former NFL player Jordan Cameron, whom she began dating in 2017. The couple share three children \u2014 son Arthur, 6, and daughters Zeta, 3 and Freya, who was born in 2024. Cameron is also the father of a son from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n

As for Tiger, he is now in a relationship with Vanessa Trump<\/a>, ex-wife of President Donald Trump\u2019s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.<\/p>\n

The president, 79, said he approves of the relationship<\/a>, which reportedly began around Thanksgiving 2024.<\/p>\n
