Reliable defender Brady Hough is set to play in the WAFL practice match against Peel Thunder on Saturday after recovering well from an ankle injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hough hurt his ankle at training four weeks ago and is set to be available for match minutes this weekend.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrady has progressed really positively, and we\u2019re excited to hopefully see him back out there,\u201d High Performance Manager Phil Merriman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s recovered well and will be a test to play this week.\u201d<\/p>\n
Young gun Reuben Ginbey is managing an inflamed toe joint and has been placed on a short-term modified program which will keep him out of the AAMI Community Series clash against Port Adelaide at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the moment we\u2019re letting it settle, and the plan is to build him up for round one,\u201d Merriman said.<\/p>\n
Co-captain Liam Duggan is being managed conservatively following a recent head knock and will not feature against the Power.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are taking a more conservative route with Liam, given his history with concussion,\u201d Merriman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s building steadily and is on track for the round one match.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fellow co-captain Liam Baker is available for selection after being managed following AFL Origin, while Brandon Starcevich continues to progress through his reconditioning program following a low-grade calf strain and Jack Graham is ramping up his training.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrandon is continuing to build his reconditioning loads and is gradually moving back into the football program,\u201d Merriman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cJack is working through the gears nicely and is a strong chance to be available for round one.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tim Kelly will miss this weekend\u2019s match after experiencing some hamstring tightness mid-week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cTim developed some hamstring tightness during training on Wednesday, and we have made the decision to hold him out from playing this weekend,\u201d Merriman said.<\/p>\n
