On the surface, shooting a 72 on an opening day of good scoring at the Cognizant Classic doesn\u2019t seem too exciting. But we\u2019re pretty sure David Ford will remember his wild round at PGA National for a long time.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old budding star authored one of the most electrifying stretches of golf imaginable during his Thursday back nine. Unfortunately, it came after a rough quadruple bogey. But it was all part of his roller-coaster round.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start with the bad. And with Ford getting a bit muddy on his way to making a seven on the par-3 17th (he started on the back nine):<\/p>\n
