Collingwood premiership champion Scott Pendlebury has reportedly \u201csupercharged\u201d his off-field endorsements as he continues to fight financial and legal battles. <\/p>\n

Pendlebury, just turned 38 years of age, is seven games away from equalling Brent Harvey\u2019s record 432 AFL matches played \u2014 but it\u2019s money troubles away from the sport that have proven a distraction heading into his 21st season.<\/p>\n

According to a Herald Sun report<\/a>, the Magpies stalwart has been \u201csupercharging his off-field deals\u201d, which are said to include a commentary deal and several endorsements, as well as heading up a big-money wine business. <\/p>\n

It comes as the legendary ball-winner\u2019s other business ventures have hit stumbling blocks. <\/p>\n

Pendlebury\u2019s investment in Progression Fitness Club \u2014 which sat at Collingwood\u2019s training centre at Olympic Park \u2014 proved a bust after the establishment went broke as a result of the Covid lockdowns, while Bare Water \u2014 co-founded with former Bulldogs premiership winner Jason Johannisen \u2014 hit a trademark hurdle. <\/p>\n

But at the top of Pendlebury\u2019s concerns remains a court fight with his former manager, Jason Sourasis<\/a>, over a $2 million-plus investment in struggling A-Leagues franchise Western United. <\/p>\n

Pendlebury has alleged Sourasis transferred $2,148,900 million \u201cwithout his knowledge\u201d \u2014 a large portion of which into an account linked to A-League club Western United.<\/p>\n

He also alleged Sourasis owed him $300,000 at 50 per cent interest per year \u2014 totalling close to $3 million all up.<\/p>\n

The superstar Pie\u2019s marketing work has since \u201csurged\u201d, signing with KN Management and promoting things such as coffee beans and holiday accommodation, among various other products and services. <\/p>\n

Pendlebury has also kicked up Elite Estate Wine, a corporate entity selling commemorative wine based around AFL milestones. The company sold out of bottles of \u2018Tex300\u2019 Shiraz, celebrating Adelaide stalwart Taylor Walker\u2019s 300th match last September. <\/p>\n

Sitting on 425 games, if Pendlebury plays every week from the start of the season, he will match Brent Harvey\u2019s total in the Anzac Day game against Essendon. <\/p>\n
