BYD\u2019s<\/a> updated Denza Z9 GT<\/a> pure electric station wagon is the world\u2019s longest range BEV with a CLTC range of up to 1,036 km, equipped with a 122.496 kWh Blade battery pack, according to an official announcement. <\/p>\n

BYD continues to lead China\u2019s EV range rankings<\/a>. It is worth pointing out that BYD\u2019s updated Denza Z9 BEV<\/a> has a CLTC range of 1,068 km according to Chinese MIIT filing. At this time, it is not clear why BYD did not declare this model as the world\u2019s longest range BEV.<\/p>\n

The updated Denza Z9 GT will continue to be available in both BEV and PHEV variants. <\/p>\n

The BEV will be offered in RWD and AWD, equipped with two battery pack capacities: 102.33 kWh and 122.496 kWh, providing five CLTC range options: 820 km, 860 km, 880 km, 1,002 km, and 1,036 km. <\/p>\n

The newly added RWD is equipped with a 370 kW (496 hp) electric motor and has a top speed of 240 km\/h. The AWD boasts a 230 kW (308 hp) front electric motor and two 310 kW (416 hp) rear motors, for a combined power output of 850 kW (1,140 hp), which is an increase of 140 kW (188 hp). Its top speed is 270 km\/h. <\/p>\n

The PHEV features a 63.82 kWh battery pack, nearly double that of the current model, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 400 km. Its powertrain consists of a 2.0T engine and three electric motors. The engine has a maximum power output of 152 kW (204 hp) and the three electric motors have a combined output of 640 kW (858 hp). Its top speed is 230 km\/h.<\/p>\n

Dimensionally, the updated Denza Z9 GT remains consistent, measuring 5195 (5180) mm in length, 1990 mm in width, and 1480 (1500) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. <\/p>\n

Inside the cabin, the cockpit continues the symmetrical layout with a 17.3-inch central control screen and dual 13.2-inch 2.5K screens, supporting ten-screen linkage and voice recognition, powered by a 4nm DiLink smart cockpit chip.<\/p>\n

For advanced driving assistance functions, the updated Denza Z9 GT comes standard with BYD\u2019s DiPilot 300 \u201cGod\u2019s Eye\u201d B 5.0 system.<\/a><\/p>\n
