Reports have claimed that Arsenal are the favourites to sign Anthony Gordon<\/a> from Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

It has been claimed that the league leaders are willing to pay a fee between \u00a375 million and \u00a380 million for his signature.<\/p>\n

Arsenal<\/a> fans are not happy with Berta after hearing the news.<\/p>\n

Anthony Gordon<\/a> is an excellent player on his day, but the majority of Arsenal fans aren\u2019t convinced he is the one who will improve their side.<\/p>\n

Some of them have even called for Berta to be sacked if this move goes through. <\/p>\n

One Arsenal fan tweeted: \u201cIf Arsenal are looking to sign Gordon, they need to sack Berta.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSack Andrea Berta<\/a> and Arteta if this transfer materialises. They\u2019re not serious,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n

Another frustrated Gooner posted: \u201cArteta\u2019s talent ID is so bad. Why do we need Martinelli 2.0 when the version we have is actually better than him?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGordon to Arsenal after signing Noni Madueke<\/a> would literally put Andrea Berta on Edu\u2019s talent ID level. Wake up Berta! There are better players out there,\u201d tweeted another.<\/p>\n

Gordon is a very good player.<\/p>\n

The Newcastle star is an England international, he\u2019s fast, versatile, a good dribbler and has plenty of experience in the Premier League<\/a>. <\/p>\n

However, if Arsenal want to replace Gabriel Martinelli<\/a> or Leandro Trossard<\/a>, they should be aiming for a serious upgrade. <\/p>\n

As good as Gordon is, we just don\u2019t think he\u2019s that much better than either of Arsenal\u2019s left-wingers. <\/p>\n

We think Berta should use the \u00a375 million or more that Gordon will cost on someone like Kenan Yildiz<\/a> instead. <\/p>\n
