Sean Payton is coming off one of the best turnaround jobs in recent NFL history. In three years, he has taken the Denver Broncos<\/a> from the lows of the Nathaniel Hackett era to a 14-win season in his third year. The Broncos<\/a> were four points away from winning an AFC championship, but were bitten by the injury bug. Nevertheless, Payton has built the Broncos into possibly perennial contenders.<\/p>\n

Payton stopped by to see Rich Eisen on The\u00a0Rich Eisen Show at the NFL combine, and he talked about the development of Bo Nix, his views on Patrick Mahomes, and what he thinks about the NFL’s rule changes, among other topics.<\/p>\n

Payton is looking to capitalize on his successful third season, and he isn\u2019t apologizing for it. He has already fired three coaches<\/a>, even after accomplishing a No. 1 seed.
