Her final single \u201cCall My Name\u201d reached number 2 in the German charts and earned her an Echo nomination. Her 2018 album \u201cZur\u00fcck zu mir\u201d marked a turning point, combining personal ballads and modern sounds and achieving further chart success.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond music, she has demonstrated versatility with a second place on \u201cLet\u2019s Dance\u201d, victories on \u201cDas gro\u00dfe Promibacken\u201d, \u201cThe Masked Singer\u201d and \u201cDancing on Ice\u201d, as well as work as a presenter, actress and voice actress. Since November 2025, she has played the lead role of Satine in the musical \u201cMoulin Rouge\u201d in Cologne. In August 2025, she released her album \u201cStrong Girls Club\u201d, which includes English-language tracks and centres on empowerment. In the first round, the jury picked their three favourites to go on to the superfinal. They have participated 68 times since the beginning in <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionworld.com\/eurovision\/1956\" target=\"_top\" title=\"Eurovision 1956 Results: Voting &amp; Points\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">1956<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Germany 1982: Nicole &#8211; &#8220;Ein Bi\u00dfchen Frieden&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The only year Germany didn&#8217;t participate was in <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionworld.com\/eurovision\/1996\" target=\"_top\" title=\"Eurovision 1996 Results: Voting &amp; Points\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">1996<\/a>. Prior to the competition in <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionworld.com\/eurovision\/1996\/qualification\" title=\"Eurovision 1996 Qualification\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">1996<\/a>, 30 countries had signed up for participation, so the EBU had to make a <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionworld.com\/eurovision\/1996\/qualification\" title=\"Eurovision 1996 Qualification\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">selection<\/a>. Judges from the participating countries made a secret vote, where the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionworld.com\/eurovision\/1996\/qualification\" title=\"Eurovision 1996 Qualification\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">top-22 songs<\/a> qualified. During this vote, the judges only listened to, but didn&#8217;t watch, the contestants. This turned out to be highly unpopular, and it was also the only time this method was used. The result of the vote was that Germany was ruled out. Their worst results are nine last place finishes. Germany is a member of the &#8220;Big-5,&#8221; which means they don&#8217;t have to go through the Semi-final round and are automatically qualified for the Grand Final.
