Australia’s Hannah Green has won the Women’s World Championship for a second time in Singapore.<\/p>\n

Green held off fast-finishing American Auston Kim to claim a one-stroke victory, having closed with a 3-under-par 69.<\/p>\n

Compatriot Minjee Lee \u2014 who was co-leader with Green going into Sunday’s final round \u2014 was tied for third alongside American Angel Yin and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of France at 11-under.<\/p>\n

Green \u2014 the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship winner \u2014 produced an erratic back nine, with three birdies and as many bogeys nearly opening the door for Kim.<\/p>\n

She tapped in for bogey at the last hole to finish the tournament at 14-under at the par-72 Sentosa Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Green previously won in Singapore in 2024.<\/p>\n

Kim had the equal-best round of the day with a 67 on the back off six birdies and an eagle.<\/p>\n

But bogeys at the second hole and at the par-3 15th ended her charge at 13-under.<\/p>\n

Lee mixed three birdies with three bogeys for a frustrating even-par 72.<\/p>\n

Top-ranked Jeeno Thitikul \u2014 who won last week’s tournament in her native Thailand \u2014 shot 73 on Sunday to be 2-under and tied for 31st place.<\/p>\n

She was one shot behind New Zealand’s defending champion, Lydia Ko, who posted a 72.<\/p>\n
