Aussie star Israel Folau has scored for the third week on end, but the result remained the same as Urayasu D-Rocks were crushed by Dave Rennie\u2019s Kobe Steelers in the latest round of Japan Rugby League One.<\/p>\n

Kobe piled on 12 tries on Saturday to win 78-19 and maintain second place on the standings.<\/p>\n

D-Rocks, who are without the injured Wallabies back Samu Kerevi, are unravelling, with six straight losses after they had made a promising start by winning three of their first four matches.<\/p>\n

A contender for the vacant All Black coaching position, ex-Wallabies coach Rennie\u2019s charges have scored a staggering 49 tries in their last six matches.<\/p>\n

Bernard Foley\u2019s Spears Funabashi Bay continue to lead the way after gathering their ninth win from 10 with a hard fought 28-10 defeat of Yokohama Eagles on Sunday, although their inability to secure a try-scoring bonus point against the league\u2019s bottom-placed side has trimmed their lead on the standings to two points.<\/p>\n

Their next engagement after the upcoming bye weekend pits them against Saitama Wild Knights, who returned to winning form in a confidence boosting 66-19 demolition of Mie Heat.<\/p>\n

Aussie-schooled Japanese internationals, centre Dylan Riley, back-rower Ben Gunter (two) and second-rower Jack Cornelsen, each scored tries.<\/p>\n

The struggles of Brave Lupus Tokyo continue, with the defending champions crashing to their fourth defeat in a row after a TJ Perenara-inspired BlackRams Tokyo claimed a 33-14 win in the opening game of the weekend.<\/p>\n

Brave Lupus face Tokyo Sungoliath next in the Fuchu (western Tokyo) derby, and their close rivals warmed up by crushing Shizuoka BlueRevs 57-24.<\/p>\n

Steve Hansen\u2019s Verblitz recorded their second win on the bounce, prevailing in a thriller against Sagamihara Dynaboars 31-29.<\/p>\n
