After weeks of silence, it has been revealed that Delta Goodrem will represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. They will compete with the song \u201cEclipse\u201d.<\/p>\n

It had been rumoured for a couple of weeks that Delta was set to represent Australia<\/a> at Eurovision in 2026. This was confirmed as the song was officially released on the official Eurovision Youtube channel. The song was written by Delta herself, as well as Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin and Michael Fatkin. The music video was also filmed in the Australian desert<\/p>\n Speaking on her decision to participate at Eurovision, Delta said<\/a>:<\/p>\n I\u2019m so honoured to represent Australia on one of the biggest and most iconic music stages in the world at Eurovision! As a singer-songwriter, music has been my lifelong passion. I\u2019ve always loved the creativity, individuality, and joy Eurovision brings, connecting and uniting people across the globe through music; the universal language. I can\u2019t wait to arrive in Vienna and make Australia proud.<\/p>\n Australia\u2019s Eurovision journey<\/p>\n The most recent country to debut into the Eurovision Song Contest, Australia debuted in 2015. Guy Sebastian represented the land down under with his entry \u201cTonight Again\u201d in Vienna, where they placed 5th. Since their debut, they have participated every single year of the competition.<\/p>\n Australia internally selected Go-Jo to represent them in 2024 with the song \u201cMilkshake Man\u201d.
