Kyle Sandilands<\/a> has confirmed his radio co-star, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, won’t be returning to the airwaves at all this week. She has been taking a break from her breakfast KIIS FM show<\/a> after she and Kyle had a major on-air fight.<\/p>\n

The pair were in the middle of talking about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s arrest nearly two weeks ago when Jackie started talking about the royal’s astrological chart. Kyle<\/a> ripped into Jackie for being “off with the fairies” and being unprofessional for talking about star signs.<\/p>\n

Jackie took last week off and there were rumours she was set to return on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

But she was noticeably absent and Kyle revealed she wouldn’t be returning for a few days while she “gathered her thoughts”.<\/p>\n

“It’s just the two of us again,” he said to producer and newsreader Brooklyn Ross at the start of the show.<\/p>\n

“It’s a shame Jackie isn’t here, she won’t be here all week again everyone, for all those monitoring.”<\/p>\n

He believed she would eventually be back, but insisted he was in the dark about her official return date.<\/p>\n

“I know there’s a lot of speculation and everyone thinks they know everything, if anyone would know anything it would be me but I know nothing, zero,” he said.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn claimed Jackie is “fine and doing well” but didn’t have much more to reveal.<\/p>\n

Mid-last week, Kyle admitted that what happened between them was not appropriate and he wished he handled it differently.<\/p>\n

\u201c I obviously upset her and maybe in hindsight I shouldn\u2019t have said it on the air, but we say a lot of things on the air here,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s never meant to hurt her feelings and obviously it did, and I regret hurting her feelings.<\/p>\n

“No one wants to hurt someone, especially someone you care for.”<\/p>\n

What happened between Kyle and Jackie O?<\/p>\n

Kyle and Jackie O were in the middle of talking about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest in the UK when Jackie started discussing the stars and how his birth chart apparently influences his behaviour.<\/p>\n

But Kyle was having none of it.<\/p>\n

While he said while birth charts can be “fascinating”, he believed it was taking up far too much airtime.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t mean to be rude, as I said fascinating, but I don\u2019t think it should be at the detriment of everything else on the show,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s affecting other things. Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable.<\/p>\n

“You are off with the fairies with this s**t, it’s mental.”<\/p>\n

Kyle even likened her to a “drug addict” with the way she was obsessing over astrological claims, even though his radio co-host has spoken about addiction issues in the past.<\/p>\n

“You are not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in this building has mentioned it to me,” he added.<\/p>\n

“Everyone has said, ‘What’s going on with Jackie? She’s off today.”<\/p>\n

But Jackie was completely taken aback by his comments and was clearly emotional.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m totally offended by you saying something like that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would never say things like that about you,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou make out like you\u2019re perfect, but there are so many things that you don\u2019t do, and I would never bring them up, and I would never say what people say.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to get into a tit for tat, I think it\u2019s mean and nasty. I don\u2019t have a problem, but if I brought up the things people say.\u201d<\/p>\n
