Gennings Dunker, a 22-year-old offensive tackle for the Iowa Hawkeyes, left many mesmerized by his red-haired mullet at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Sunday.<\/p>\n
NFL Network personality Rich Eisen deemed it \u201cthe greatest mullet in the history of the combine\u201d while Dunker ran his 5.18-second 40-yard dash, and the broadcast showed it in slow motion.<\/p>\n
Dunker, a projected second-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft, measured at 6-foot-5 and 319 pounds this week and got plenty of camera time \u2014 and commentary \u2014 on his shoulder-length mullet.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean, honestly this is what it\u2019s built for,\u201d Eisen said of the flow of Dunker\u2019s hair during his workout at Lucas Oil Stadium.<\/p>\n

Former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert was also impressed with Dunker\u2019s hair.<\/p>\n
\u201cHang it in the Louvre,\u201d Benkert said in an X post, including a video of him running drills in front of all 32 NFL teams.<\/p>\n
Dunker has a \u201cpro-ready frame but limited athleticism that is likely to push him inside to guard,\u201d according to his draft profile on NFL.com.<\/p>\n
He was a crucial part of Iowa\u2019s offensive line that won the Joe Moore Award in 2025, a prize given annually to the top offensive line in college football.<\/p>\n
Dunker started at right tackle in all 13 games, the last of which marked his 38th career start, and was a first-team All-Big Ten selection last season.<\/p>\n
