This then caught the attention of MacGill, who berated his co-host and went on a tirade for about three minutes, which saw him call Menczel words such as \u201cmoron\u201d, \u201cpig-headed\u201d and a \u201cmuppet\u201d.<\/p>\n
Now, Menczel has delivered an explosive reply.<\/p>\n
A transcript of his response can be read below.<\/p>\n
\u201cShow ends and then he goes off some more. Yells at me, calls me the \u2018C\u2019 word. Storm out the door and I just say I\u2019m going to release the episode.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no way I\u2019m going to sit on this apart from the fact that he was yelling at me to release the episode. And you think the way he was carrying on, he\u2019d (be) begging me not to release it.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen he was saying for me to bleep out Sonny Bill Williams\u2019 name because no one can hear the ex-footballer\u2019s name. What an absolute muppet he is.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo he leaves, I release it and look, I was fine. I don\u2019t mind being called those things. I\u2019m no shrinking violet. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone that\u2019s listened to this show knows I can take a punch. I can give a punch. People were checking in with me about my mental health. I\u2019m doing fine.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne thing about that though that I didn\u2019t like is the bullying. His attempt to bully me or bully anyone because that\u2019s not good to listen to. It\u2019s not good to watch, it doesn\u2019t set a good example.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo I find that stuff quite onerous. I don\u2019t mind arguing with someone, and on the show, I did try take on board his point of view.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut he wasn\u2019t having any of it, and he had this meltdown, which was immature, and it was bullying. It wasn\u2019t arguing, it wasn\u2019t fun to listen to.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has shown those signs before in previous episodes. When he feels he can\u2019t keep up, instead of trying to engage, he just bullies or demeans. It\u2019s a very cheap form of content, and personally, the listeners don\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve had so many people reach out to say ditch him from the show. I decided not to make any big decisions after the fact but what was very worrying for me is he\u2019s shown basically zero remorse for what he did.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s been no even hint of an apology towards me for the way he acted. There\u2019s been no regret. That is worrying for me because he\u2019s a ticking time bomb.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can bring him back into the podcast but I guarantee I\u2019m not going to sit on my hands anymore, Stu. So when you come back in, I\u2019m telling you there\u2019s a car-boot full of stuff that I can bring up if you want to keep calling me words.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo I\u2019ll be very careful about that because things actually could kick off if he doesn\u2019t watch it. It\u2019s not going to be one-way traffic forever. Anybody that listens to the show for the last month knows I\u2019ve handled him very gently.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen something\u2019s off the pace, I move on. I\u2019m very nice to him but the way he treated me that means he\u2019s going to get some of it back. I don\u2019t know if the podcast is able to continue in that way.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to be fighting with someone. I don\u2019t want to be punched in the face and let\u2019s be honest, that meltdown was unhinged and insane. He started twitching like he was going to punch me.<\/p>\n
\u201cAdmittedly when he left he got in my face. I\u2019m not sure exactly what\u2019s going to happen but I went to this with my eyes open. I\u2019m telling you, if all his teammates, all his captains, all the people that worked with him on radio say he\u2019s difficult and a hot-head that must be true!<\/p>\n
\u201cI went into this with open eyes that we record a podcast together. I don\u2019t want to be great mates with him. I\u2019m here to do a show with him so I\u2019m not going to go to the pub with him.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just thought we would be able to may be get through and record a podcast together but he\u2019s a broken man. He\u2019s been through a lot. He\u2019s been through stuff that is of his own making but no doubt it\u2019s been traumatic.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think that\u2019s left a big scar on him. I do feel sorry for him. He\u2019s a broken man and I think he needs help and that sort of behaviour is not on.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like banter on the podcast. I can take a bit of back-and-forth but bullying and threatening violence is just too far and how can I keep putting out a podcast when those are the themes.<\/p>\n
