Perth beer-lovers seeking out Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co\u2019s award-winning bevvies on their jaunts down South will soon need only travel to the CBD to experience the brewery\u2019s South West hospitality.<\/p>\n

Expanding into the popular St Georges Terrace corridor of Brookfield Place, the brand is set to unveil a signature metropolitan venue in July 2026 to complement its three others south of the city.<\/p>\n

Founded as a brewpub in 2012 in the Margaret River region, Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co has since opened Caves Road Brewpub, Vasse Brewery & Taphouse, and Rockingham Taphouse \u2014 with the latter an acquisition and transformation of the former Sound Brewing Co.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s first city dwelling will be a beer haven for city workers, set to feature a re-imagined interior and expanded beer garden intended to be an escape from the business district\u2019s hustle and bustle.<\/p>\n

With 24 taps pouring the brewery\u2019s most awarded beers and a food menu that fuses elevated casual pub favourites with favours of the globe, the venue hopes to provide a laid-back sanctuary for guests all-day and after work.<\/p>\n

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co\u2019s managing director Brent Burton said the expansion into Perth would mark a major milestone in the brand\u2019s short history.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an incredible honour to partner with Brookfield Properties and join the world-class precinct at Brookfield Place. Creating a signature venue in the CBD is a major milestone for Cheeky Monkey, and one we\u2019re extremely excited to unveil in July 2026,\u201d Mr Burton said.<\/p>\n

Although a day in the city doesn\u2019t quite scream relaxation, director of operations Brendan Day said the metropolitan venue would stay true its Margaret River routes despite the location.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re re-imagining the space to be entirely focused on high-quality hospitality without the ego or pretence,\u201d Mr Day said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur vision is to bring the essence of the South West to St Georges Terrace \u2014 great beer, elevated pub food, and a welcoming place people want to spend time in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co will not be the only established WA brewpub to find a new home in the CBD, with Fremantle\u2019s Little Creatures landing at Elizabeth Quay in November 2025.<\/p>\n

And the incoming venue will also not be the only new resident at Brookfield Place, with the privately owned Hub Australia recently opening a 10,000sqm premium workspace site set across four floors of Tower One at 125 St Georges Terrace.<\/p>\n
