According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-03-04\/sony-pulls-back-from-playstation-games-on-pc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a report in Bloomberg<\/a>, Sony\u2019s gaming division is moving away from porting PS5 games to PC, which reportedly includes cancelling plans for a PC port of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/games\/784888\/ghost-of-yotei-review-ps5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ghost of Y\u014dtei<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">It\u2019s a big change from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/5\/26\/23142569\/sony-playstation-pc-mobile-game-releases-first-party-portfolio\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a few years ago<\/a>, when Sony said it wanted half of its games available on PC and mobile by 2025. As part of that goal some of the brand\u2019s biggest franchises, including The Last of Us, Horizon, and God of War, made their way to PC. This month alone will see the launch of PlayStation-backed PC titles including the multiplayer shooter Marathon and Kojima Productions\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/games\/883752\/death-stranding-2-will-get-a-219-ultrawide-mode-on-ps5-not-just-on-pc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Death Stranding 2<\/a>. However, the Bloomberg report notes that the PlayStation ports didn\u2019t sell particularly well, which could be a reason for the shift. It also cautioned that plans could change in the future.
