Telling broadcast vision has countered claims of a tense moment between Ollie Florent and Callum Mills after the final siren on Thursday night. <\/p>\n

Veteran photographer Michael Willson captured images of the former teammates seemingly in an intense exchange after the Swans – Florent\u2019s former team – had sealed a 63-point win to open the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Willson posted the images on X<\/a> with the caption: \u201cNo bloody joke – Oli Florent and Callum Mills exchange words after Florent snubbed Mills post-match.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, separate footage depicts Florent and Mills embracing with a handshake and hug among the other players out on the SCG. <\/p>\n

Host Sarah Jones introduced the vision, which was captured on the Fox Footy broadcast. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t look like that (a tense exchange) is the case here. Hugs and smiles \u2026 we do have some vision showing that all looks pretty well,\u201d Jones said. <\/p>\n

Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall added: \u201cYeah, that\u2019s good to see. That was a pretty warm embrace. A few words in each other\u2019s ears. <\/p>\n

\u201cOften, things are said in the heat of battle out on the ground, but you smooth it out once the game\u2019s over. Really good to see that.\u201d<\/p>\n

And in case there was still any doubt, later in the evening, Mills posted a photo to his Instagram of the pair together looking chummy, with the caption \u201cI think we (are) all good\u201d with laughing and love heart emojis. <\/p>\n

Speaking post-match, Sydney coach Dean Cox said he wasn\u2019t aware of a sour moment between Florent and Mills but would seek clarification from the club captain. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have no idea about that \u2026 none at all,\u201d Cox said post-match. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey are good mates \u2013 that\u2019s what I know. I\u2019m not sure, I\u2019ll speak to Callum about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure what happened on the field. But they are there to compete against each other \u2014 but they\u2019re good mates.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, Fox Footy reporter Jon Ralph explained the situation, noting last year\u2019s circumstances where Florent – who played in the Harbour City for nine years – was effectively told he wasn\u2019t wanted by the Swans anymore. <\/p>\n

\u201c(Willson) has a series of photos where Florent snubbed Cal Mills, according to Willson, in the post-match handshake,\u201d Ralph reported late Thursday night. <\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly, words were exchanged there. We know Florent left this club under less-than-ideal circumstances and wasn\u2019t happy with how Sydney tackled that one as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlenty of passion there that potentially spilled over post match. A game full of spotfires.\u201d<\/p>\n
