Kadokawa<\/a> revealed the main cast, first promotional video, and October 15 debut for Ugoku! Neko Mukashi Banashi<\/a> (Move! Cat Folktales), the web anime<\/a> adaptation of Pandania<\/a>‘s Neko Mukashi Banashi<\/a> (Cat Folktales) four-panel manga, on Friday.<\/p>\n

The anime will star:\n<\/p>\n

The anime will debut on October 15 on its official YouTube<\/a> channel<\/a>. New episodes will stream every Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Kazumi Nonaka<\/a> (Hana Kappa<\/a>, Mameushi-kun<\/a>, Happy Happy Clover<\/a>) is directing the anime at Studio Comet<\/a>, Kenichi Yamashita<\/a> (Hensuki<\/a>, MF Ghost<\/a> two seasons, The tale of outcasts<\/a>) is in charge of series scripts, and Narumi Shimoji<\/a> (Charanpo Land no B\u014dken<\/a>, Rinshi!! Ekoda-chan<\/a>) is designing the characters.<\/p>\n

The cute comedy manga and anime take children’s stories and folktales from all around the world and asks, “What if a cat appeared in this story?” <\/p>\n

Kadokawa has so far published three volumes for the manga: Neko Mukashi Banashi, Nyanto! Neko Mukashi Banashi, and Mikke! Neko Mukashi Banashi.<\/p>\n

Pandania is known for many other manga involving cats, such as Cats With Jobs, The Evil Secret Society of Cats<\/a>, Yokai Cats<\/a>, and Monster Cats<\/a>. Seven Seas Entertainment<\/a> is releasing all four manga in English.<\/p>\n

Dark Horse Comics<\/a> is releasing<\/a> Pandania’s Cthulhu Cat<\/a> manga in English.
