The proposal coincides with the firm\u2019s complete acquisition of a 1.4-hectare site near the suburb\u2019s waterfront.<\/p>\n<p>In a media release, One Global Capital describes the proposal as \u201ca city-within-a-city development \u2026 designed to set a new benchmark for integrated urban living in Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Designs have been developed by international practice Koichi Takada Architects, with their concept drawing on the studio\u2019s approach to naturalising architecture. Director Koichi Takada said their vision for the project \u201cwill reconnect people with each other and the natural environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The precinct is planned to include 750 premium apartments across five towers, a 150-room hotel, approximately 10,000 square metres of retail space, along with health and wellness facilities, landscaped open space, and community amenities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe public realm benefits from biophilic design that integrates generous landscaping, and the development is optimised for natural daylight, airflow and water views to foster wellbeing, sustainability and spaces that foster community interaction,\u201d Takada commented.<\/p>\n<p>According to a media release from the developer, a key feature of the development will be the \u201clifestyle retail precinct, offering shopping and dining experiences \u2013 including a proposed state-of-the-art car showroom \u2013 as well as communal spaces.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"According to a media release from the developer, a key feature of the development will be the lifestyle retail precinct.\" class=\"['full'] full blur-up lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/c56df05b4d353c160a200ffb3544a4b7.png\" height=\"488\" width=\"728\"\/><\/p>\n<p>View gallery<\/p>\n<p>Simon McTigue, director of Wallaringa Consulting \u2013 the project\u2019s retail delivery and leasing consultant \u2013 said, \u201cOn completion, the integrated precinct will provide the community with a new inner west town centre, offering daily convenience via a proposed large format supermarket and fresh food precinct, as well as a restaurant and cafe district situated alongside key services such as a medical and health centre. It will be a place to live, work and play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founder of One Global Capital Iwan Sunito said the project had been part of the firm\u2019s vision since 2002.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not simply developing buildings \u2013 we are creating a city within a city,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is about creating a lasting urban legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Submission of the project for planning approval is targeted for June 2026, with expressions of interest from investors closing later in the year.
