{"id":521946,"date":"2026-03-06T06:39:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T06:39:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/521946\/"},"modified":"2026-03-06T06:39:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T06:39:08","slug":"sergio-perez-much-more-appreciated-at-cadillac-f1-team-than-red-bull","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/521946\/","title":{"rendered":"Sergio Perez \u201cmuch more appreciated\u201d at Cadillac F1 team than Red Bull"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cadillac Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez believes his feedback on car development is \u201cmuch more appreciated\u201d than it ever was during his Red Bull stint.<\/p>\n<p>The six-time <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F1<\/a> race winner makes his return to the series this year, after sitting out the 2025 campaign following a difficult final season with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/teams\/red-bull-racing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Red Bull<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the winter, Sergio Perez opened up about the difficulties of his time with Red Bull, noting that being Max Verstappen\u2019s team-mate was the \u201cbest and worst job in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Linking up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/teams\/cadillac\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cadillac<\/a> for its debut season in F1 in 2026, Perez spoke on Thursday ahead of the Australian Grand Prix about his contribution to the project compared to at Red Bull.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, definitely,\u201d he replied when asked if his feedback holds greater value to Cadillac than it did at Red Bull.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think so.
