Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was called out by WWE star Logan Paul, who offered $1 million to any NFL player willing to box him.<\/p>\n
Logan Paul doesn\u2019t just think he could beat up Cleveland Browns<\/a> superstar Myles Garrett in a fight. The polarizing influencer and boxer doesn\u2019t think it would be close.<\/p>\n Paul has been going back and forth with Tom Brady in recent weeks ahead of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21, and things boiled over on the March 4 episode of his \u201cIMPAULSIVE\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n When co-host Mike Majlak brought up Garrett \u2014 the reigning Defensive Player of the Year who just broke the NFL\u2019s single-season sack record<\/a> \u2014 Paul didn\u2019t flinch.<\/p>\n \u201cNot a single football player could beat me in a boxing match,\u201d Paul said<\/a>. \u201cI would throttle Myles Garrett. Come to the gym and let\u2019s see how it goes. I will throw hands with any of you (expletive).\u201d<\/p>\n Paul also called out other NFL<\/a> names, including Puka Nacua, Sam Darnold and Brady himself, before doubling down on the wager and making it clear the offer was open to anyone in the league.<\/p>\n \u201cA million dollars. You come to the gym, we put on boxing gloves, we\u2019ll see how it goes,\u201d Paul said. \u201cNot a single one. There\u2019s levels to this (expletive).\u201d<\/p>\n Garrett Is the NFL\u2019s Most Dominant Defensive Force<\/p>\n Garrett isn\u2019t exactly the guy most people would want to pick a fight with. The Browns\u2019 defensive end stands 6-foot-4, 272 pounds, and just wrapped up one of the most dominant individual seasons in NFL history.<\/p>\n Garrett broke the NFL\u2019s single-season sack record last year, finishing with 23 sacks to surpass the previous mark of 22.5 shared by Michael Strahan (2001) and T.J. Watt (2021). He also led the league with 33 tackles for loss.<\/p>\n Garrett earned his second career Defensive Player of the Year award \u2014 this time unanimously \u2014 and his seventh Pro Bowl selection for the historic campaign. He\u2019s widely considered one of the most physically imposing athletes in all of professional sports and has already set his sights on Bruce Smith\u2019s all-time sack record<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old signed a four-year, $160 million extension<\/a> with the Browns last March, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history at the time. He is expected to continue to be the centerpiece of the defense in Cleveland, though trade rumors continue to swirl<\/a>. Garrett has not publicly responded to Paul\u2019s challenge.<\/p>\n Logan Paul Called Out for \u2018Ducking\u2019 Fights<\/p>\n Paul\u2019s challenge quickly drew responses from across the football world. Former NFL running back Le\u2019Veon Bell \u2014 who holds a 2-1 professional boxing record<\/a> with additional exhibition wins \u2014 wasted no time calling Paul out.<\/p>\n \u201cSTOP DUCKING Logan Paul,\u201d Bell wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cBro tryna fight an NFL player that\u2019s never fought before. Let\u2019s set it up bro, we all heard you say you can beat any NFL player. We can fight in April, the NFL draft is in PITTSBURGH. We can fight NFL draft weekend!\u201d<\/p>\n Paul did not entertain Bell. He responded on X<\/a>, writing: \u201cA.) you\u2019re not in the NFL B.) you can actually fight so I\u2019d have to properly train, meaning I\u2019d have to step away from WWE (which I won\u2019t do, especially not for you) C.)
