That\u2019s where the difference between a champion and a fast rider is made.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn testing, everyone is fast. Then, on a race weekend, it\u2019s a bit more difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/dsc02929-scaled_1600x900.jpg\"   type=\"image\/jpeg\" alt=\"Moreira, Marquez, Rueda, Estrella event\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.78\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Moreira, Marquez, Rueda, Estrella event<\/p>\n<p>Moreira scored his first MotoGP points at the Thai season opener, finishing in 13th for Honda LCR.<\/p>\n<p>He also asked Marquez about coping with the demands of a modern MotoGP season, which now features 22 rounds and Sprint races.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you well know, the championship is very demanding now: 22 races, and you youngsters coming in pushing hard,\u201d Marquez said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe always try to experience it in the best possible way, but it\u2019s intense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you experienced yourself in Thailand, with the Sprint race, qualifying and the main race, it\u2019s a very intense weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing yourself at the back of the grid hurts&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, reigning<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/moto3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Moto3<\/a> champion Rueda, badly injured at last year&#8217;s Sepang round, asked for advice ahead of his rookie Moto2 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Marquez warned the young Spaniard to stay patient during the inevitable difficult weekends.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy advice is to keep working patiently. Don\u2019t see everything as black, don\u2019t get frustrated,\u201d Marquez said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEspecially because there will be weekends when you do well and then the next one comes and maybe you are 20th in Moto2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing yourself at the back of the grid hurts. But it\u2019s about patience, hard work and continuing to improve.
