When Demi Moore<\/a> turned up at the Gucci FW\/26 runway presentation during Milan Fashion Week<\/a> in Italy<\/a> last Friday with a hydro-bob haircut, fans were convinced she had chopped off her signature long raven mane.<\/p>\n

The 63-year-old Oscar nominee ‘trusted’ the headline-making makeover to hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who transformed a wig into the ‘Demi-tris Bob.’<\/p>\n

The Greek-born 42-year-old’s other celebrity clients include Amal Clooney<\/a>, Cindy Crawford<\/a>, Gigi Hadid<\/a>, Ciara, Tate McRae, Kim Kardashian<\/a> and her big sister Kourtney Kardashian<\/a> Barker.<\/p>\n

Hairstylist Chris McMillan – whose clients include Jennifer Aniston<\/a> and Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a> – commented on Giannetos’ Instagram <\/a>slideshow: ‘Looked great. Soooo good. She should cut!’<\/p>\n

Moore (born Guynes) addressed the viral moment while hosting a promotional ‘Power Talks’ event for K\u00e9rastase, which was held at Nya Studios in LA on Thursday.<\/p>\n

‘[It was an] incredible moment,’ the Landman actress said onstage<\/a>. ‘Just being able to play and step into another facet of my personality.’<\/p>\n

That same day, Moore – who boasts 15.7 million social media followers – declared on Instagram<\/a>: ‘The long hair is here to stay.’<\/p>\n

The New Mexico-born grandmother showcased her enviable long locks while celebrating the launch of the French luxury haircare brand’s new ‘Chronologiste Overnight Youth Serum,’ which costs $35 (30ml) or $65 (90ml).<\/p>\n

‘[Long hair] feels most like me,’ Moore told People <\/a>in January.<\/p>\n

‘Being able to change my look with wigs and pieces feeds my need for change but at the end of the day I love taking it down seeing my hair fall past my waist. It’s like coming home.’<\/p>\n

The Brat Packer was famously paid between $11 million and $12.5 million to star as Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil in Ridley Scott’s 1997 Navy SEAL-inspired drama G.I. Jane, which required her to shave her head on camera.<\/p>\n

‘[That] probably was the most illuminating experience and one that deepened my appreciation for my hair!’ Moore said.<\/p>\n

The high school drop-out will next serve presenting duties at the 98th Academy Awards – airing March 15 on ABC\/Hulu – alongside Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison, Zoe Salda\u00f1a, Javier Bardem, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Kumail Nanjiani and Maya Rudolph.<\/p>\n

Last December, Paramount+ renewed Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace’s Texan oil drama Landman for a third season, so Moore will be back as M-Tex Oil owner Cami Miller.<\/p>\n

The critically-acclaimed<\/a> series is a small-screen adaptation of Christian Wallace’s 2019 Boomtown podcast.<\/p>\n

Audiences will finally get to hear Moore as U-Z-Onesa in Roger Holzberg’s 1997 animated film The Magic 7, which will be released as a web series this April after a successful Kickstarter campaign.<\/p>\n

The Emmy-nominated producer will also soon team up with Colman Domingo to play interracial couple Betty and Barney Hill, who get abducted by aliens in Roger Ross Williams’ 1961-set romance Strange Arrivals.<\/p>\n
