Patrons of the World\u2018s Children Hospital<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\nThe TELADOC LITE system was given to the Pope on Wednesday morning, March 4, as he received the delegation before the General Audience in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall.<\/p>\n
\u201cPatrons of the World\u2018s Children Hospital\u201c is an American not for profit Corporation which coordinates the Pope\u2018s Global Alliance for the Health and Humanitarian Care of Children, a network that brings together hospital facilities from all over the world, including the Vatican\u2018s Bambino Ges\u00f9 Children\u2018s Hospital.<\/p>\n
It aims to help provide medical care to about one million young children in developing nations or in areas where paediatric healthcare is insufficient. This mission was entrusted to the network by Pope Francis in May 2024.<\/p>\n
Fabrizio Arengi Bentivoglio, President of the Patrons, has reaffirmed the Corporation\u2019s mission to children\u2019s wellbeing, and reiterated its commitment to continue this \u201dmiracle\u201d of care and compassion for children in need alongside Pope Leo XIV.<\/p>\n
The TELADOC LITE is a next-generation technology system that connects patients and care teams with telehealth devices that support point-of-care visits and clinical collaboration.<\/p>\n
