On Saturday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> will host the Orlando Magic<\/a> at the Target Center.<\/p>\n

They are coming off a 115-107 victory over the Toronto Raptors<\/a> (also at home).<\/p>\n

Joan Beringer<\/a> played three minutes in the game, finishing with one steal.<\/p>\n

Timberwolves Announce Roster Move\"\"<\/p>\n

Before Saturday\u2019s game, the Timberwolves announced that they had assigned Beringer to the G League.<\/p>\n

Beringer was the 17th pick in the 2025 NBA<\/a> Draft this past summer.<\/p>\n

He is averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 66.7% from the field in 30 NBA games.<\/p>\n

Charlie Walton of Zone Coverage wrote:<\/a> \u201cWolves are sending Joan Beringer back to the G-League.<\/p>\n

Iowa plays tomorrow at home. And then on the 11th, they play the South Bay Lakers<\/a> in LA. Minnesota will also be in LA at the time, so wanting Beringer to get some run with Iowa in that game (if that\u2019s the plan) makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves are coming off two trips in a row to the Western Conference finals.<\/p>\n

Right now, they are the third seed with a 40-23 record in 63 games.<\/p>\n

Over their last ten games, the Timberwolves have gone 8-2 (and they have won five in a row).<\/p>\n

Following the Magic, they will play their next game on Tuesday night when they visit Luka Doncic<\/a> and the Los Angeles Lakers in California.<\/p>\n

Orlando Magic Before Saturday\u2019s Game<\/p>\n

The Magic come into play as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-28 record in 61 games.<\/p>\n

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won six out of their last ten).<\/p>\n

Following the Timberwolves, the Magic will play their next game on Sunday when they visit the Bucks in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n
