Nicola Peltz awkwardly avoided a question about her husband Brooklyn Beckham\u2019s ongoing family feud with his parents, David and Victoria.<\/p>\n
When asked how she\u2019s managed to navigate the media coverage of her husband\u2019s family drama, the Bates Motel star brought attention back to her forthcoming ballet film, Prima.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been editing my next film [Prima] for the past two and a half weeks. So honestly, I\u2019ve been in the editing room. We haven\u2019t had weekends. We\u2019ve just been trying to make a deadline [for Cannes],\u201d Peltz, 31, told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> in an interview published Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd it\u2019s been so amazing to just put my focus on that and be creative. It\u2019s been really fun doing that, and I\u2019m really excited for it to come out,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Brooklyn made his feelings for his family clear in January when he released a lengthy, scathing statement<\/a> against his famous mum and dad and stated that he didn\u2019t want to reconcile with them via social media.<\/p>\n In the statement, he alleged that Victoria and David tried to ruin his relationship with Peltz over the years, including by bringing women from his past into their lives.<\/p>\n Brooklyn also accused his mum of sabotaging the young couple\u2019s 2022 Palm Beach wedding when she cancelled on making Peltz\u2019s gown at the last minute and \u201chijacked\u201d their first dance at their reception.<\/p>\n David and Victoria have yet to respond to the allegations.<\/p>\n In the most recent update, Brooklyn celebrated his 27th birthday with special wishes shared on social media from his parents<\/a> despite the chef\u2019s request for no-contact with his family<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c27 today. Happy birthday Bust. We love you x,\u201d the retired soccer pro wrote alongside a throwback photo of his son.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,\u201d the Spice Girls alum captioned a separate message.<\/p>\n Brooklyn did not publicly comment on his parents\u2019 messages.
