The American looked down and out as Samsonova took the first set and served for the match at 5-3 in the second. However, Krueger won the next six games in a row to level the match and go a break up in the decider, eventually sealing a 3-6 7-5 6-2 victory after two hours and 26 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>She faces Elina Svitolina next. The Ukrainian needed three sets to defeat Laura Siegemund in the second-round. She took the first set on a tiebreak, but Siegemund forced a deciding set after breaking Svitolina when she served to stay in the second.
