\u201cThe Dean,\u201d as it is affectionately known, has undergone a massive renovation\u2014with new features ready just in time to greet its spring training crowds. \u201cWe have a new third base club with two levels,\u201d says Mike Bauer, general manager. \u201cThe bottom level\u2014called the Hot Corner\u2014is a group space and social hangout with a 50-foot bar. The top level is the Champions Club, an elevated experience with a high-end food and beverage buffet, with fans, televisions, and shade, which is a premium in outdoor stadiums.\u201d Additional new features include a 3,000-square-foot team store, grab-and-go food options, new video boards, and an upgraded sound system.<\/p>\n

The Dean is the spring training home to both the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals; during the renovation, each team\u2019s clubhouse was expanded 15,000 square feet. Teams now have access to hydrotherapy facilities, bigger weight rooms, additional training spaces, and cafeterias. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs our players come into Jupiter, they are going to see a brand-new space that will invigorate the workout and development mindset,\u201d says Jon Erik Alvarez, vice president of public relations and communications for the Florida Marlins. \u201cThat\u2019s the philosophy we have taken into our roster as well\u2014to focus on team development. We saw success in 2025, and we are looking forward to continuing that in 2026.\u201d <\/p>\n

For their part, the Cardinals are equally excited for the upcoming season. \u201cThe Cardinals return a nucleus of talented young players led by Masyn Winn, Alec Burleson, Ivan Herrera and Matthew Liberatore,\u201d says Brian Bartow, senior director of communications for the team.\u201c We have worked to fortify our talent pool this winter, acquiring some promising young pitchers, along with proven veterans who will help to bolster the team\u2019s depth off the mound.\u201d No doubt that this new crop of Cardinals talent will be excited to flock south to enjoy The Dean\u2019s upgrades.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpring training is major league baseball in an intimate environment,\u201d says Mike Sophia, general manager of CACTI Park. \u201cEvery seat feels like you are on top of the field. If you come early, you can watch practice and be on the fence line when the players come in.\u201d<\/p>\n

The spring training home to both the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals, the stadium has a jam-packed spring training season that features 30 games in 30 days. Popular teams including the New York Yankees, the New York Mets, and the Philadelphia Phillies will be back in town, and the Baltimore Orioles and the Pittsburgh Pirates (who don\u2019t come around these parts often) are on the schedule, too.<\/p>\n

This season, CACTI Park will also host two exhibition games in the World Baseball Classic: a tournament where the world\u2019s top players compete for their home countries. Both the Nationals and the Astros will play Team Venezuela this month.<\/p>\n

As the long-time spring training home to the New York Mets, Clover Park\u2019s 7,000-seat stadium offers an up-close-and-personal fan experience. \u201cSpring training is very unique in sports in that it provides the fans an environment to watch the players prepare up close,\u201d says Adam MacDonald, manager of broadcast and media relations for the St. Lucie Mets. \u201cFans can seize the opportunity to explore the back fields during open workouts, free of charge.\u201d<\/p>\n
