(March 11, 2026) \u2013 The South Florida women&#8217;s basketball team (20-11; 13-5 American) will play UTSA (15-15; 9-9 American) in the American Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. ET at Legacy Arena at the BJCC.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Sam Gore and Brooke Weisbord on the call. It will also be available on Bulls Unlimited Digital Radio.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSetting the Stage<br \/>\nSouth Florida is coming off a 58-49 victory over Tulane on March 7, which was the 800th win in program history and the 20th win of the season. <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/coaches\/michele-woods-baxter\/5286\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5286\" target=\"_blank\">Michele Woods-Baxter<\/a> is the only active interim head coach in Division I men&#8217;s or women&#8217;s basketball to win 20+ games this season. The Bulls have also posted 20 or more wins in 12 of the past 20 seasons, the most in the American Conference.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Bulls are riding a four-game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight. USF held Tulane to a 28.1% field goal percentage, the second straight game holding an opponent below 30%.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/katie-davidson\/15676\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15676\" target=\"_blank\">Katie Davidson<\/a> led the Bulls with 21 points, four rebounds, and two blocks, recording her fifth 20+ point game of the season. <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/carla-brito\/15668\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15668\" target=\"_blank\">Carla Brito<\/a> (10 points, 12 rebounds) and <a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/l-or-mputu\/15671\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15671\" target=\"_blank\">L&#8217;or Mputu<\/a> (10 points, 14 rebounds) posted double-doubles in the same game for the fourth time during conference play this season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSeries History<br \/>\nSouth Florida leads the all-time series, 3-2, including a 69-63 win in San Antonio on Feb. 14. USF has a three-game winning streak against UTSA.<\/p>\n<p>Note-a-Bulls<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/stefanie-ingram\/15680\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15680\" target=\"_blank\">Stefanie Ingram<\/a> leads the American with 5.7 assists per game and 178 total assists. She ranks 16th in the nation in total assists and 17th in assists per game. Her 178 total assists rank fourth in a single-season in program history. The redshirt junior is one of 14 Division I players this season with at least 300 points, 175 assists, and 100 rebounds. She is one of three American Conference players this season, averaging at least 10.0 points and 5.0 assists per game. The only USF players this century to finish a campaign with such marks are Elisa Pinzan (2020-21), Shantia Grace (2005-06), and Anerdra Gilmore (2004-05).<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/edyn-battle\/15675\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15675\" target=\"_blank\">Edyn Battle<\/a> is one of three American Conference players this season, averaging at least 15.0 points and 4.0 assists per game in conference play (Kennedy Fauntleroy and Daejah Richmond). She is the only USF player this century to have a campaign with those marks in conference games. She ranks third in the American in free-throw percentage (.824) and fifth with 4.5 assists per game during conference play.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gousfbulls.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\/roster\/carla-brito\/15668\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15668\" target=\"_blank\">Carla Brito<\/a> recorded at least 10 points, 12 rebounds, and a steal in six straight games from Feb. 4-21. That is the longest streak in American Conference history and the longest by any Division I player this season. She ranks second in the American with 11.1 rebounds per game during conference play.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAdditional Notes<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nUSF&#8217;s active roster has played in a combined 1,037 games at the Division I level.
