Seattle Mariners\u2019 Bryce Miller stops short of throwing planned bullpen<\/a><\/p>\n Italy, which also features Mariners outfielder Dominic Canzone, plays Mexico in Houston on Wednesday night in a game that will decide which of Italy, Mexico and the USA advances to the WBC quarterfinals.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old Mastrobuoni appeared in three games for Italy during the international competition, going 2 for 3 with an RBI double and a walk. It was his second time playing for Team Italy in the WBC, having previously done so in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Mastrobuoni played 76 games for the Mariners in 2025, hitting .250 with a .324 on-base percentage, .620 OPS, four doubles, a home run and six stolen bases. He previously played eight games with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2022 and 111 games for the Chicago Cubs between 2023-24.<\/p>\n Mastrobuoni, who also played 31 games for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers in 2025, saw time at all positions for the Mariners last year except for catcher, shortstop and center field.
