Lenovo has provided local neocloud Sharon AI with a 1,000-GPU NVIDIA B200 cluster at NextDC\u2019s M3 data centre, labelling it its \u201clargest-ever\u201d TruScale\u00a0infrastructure-as-a-service engagement.<\/p>\n
The cluster is expected to provide Australian and Asia Pacific (APAC) enterprises, government organisations, and research institutions access to \u201cworld-class accelerated computing\u201d, according to Lenovo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Specifically optimised for massive-scale workloads, the cluster uses NVIDIA\u2019s DGX Blackwell architecture featuring eight Blackwell GPUs interconnected via a fifth generation NVLink, delivering up to three times the training performance and 15 times the inference performance in comparison to previous generation systems.<\/p>\n
Lenovo said the rollout was an example of how its TruScale offering \u2014 providing fully integrated solutions as-a-service on a pay-as-you-go model \u2014 enables flexible and rapid infrastructure expansion.<\/p>\n
Sharon AI combines the vendor\u2019s high-density server engineering with high-performance storage fabric from Vast Data to offer a unified develop-to-deploy pipeline that Lenovo said removes traditional bottlenecks in the AI lifecycle.<\/p>\n
