Chargers<\/a> wide receiver Quentin Johnston could be available via trade this offseason.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler<\/a> revealed there is speculation that the former first-round pick could be dealt ahead of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

“Also, Brown isn’t the only receiver potentially available. Baltimore’s\u00a0Rashod Bateman, Los Angeles’\u00a0Quentin Johnston\u00a0and Green Bay’s\u00a0Dontayvion Wicks\u00a0have come up in my talks,” Fowler writes.<\/p>\n

NFL analyst Brett Kollmann believes the Bolts should part ways with the wideout, whose fifth-year option with the team will likely be declined.<\/p>\n

“If we know they\u2019re not bringing him back long term anyway\u2026 let\u2019s be honest, they\u2019re not. Get something out of it,” Kollmann said on the Bootleg Football Podcast.<\/p>\n

“I think he’s really become a better football player over the years. He’s startable.”<\/p>\n

In 2025, Johnston recorded 51 receptions for 735 yards with eight touchdowns. The Chargers drafted him No. 21st overall in the 2023 NFL draft, but he has not lived up to expectations in the powder blue.<\/p>\n

Johnston has not come close to surpassing 1,000 yards in a single season as he’s struggled to become a consistent target for quarterback Justin Herbert. As he enters his fourth NFL season, a change of scenery may be beneficial for the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n

In return for Johnston, the Chargers could perhaps receive a fifth or sixth-round pick.<\/p>\n
