Actor Mick Graham, one of the stars of the iconic Chris Lilley series We Can Be Heroes, has died following a long illness.<\/p>\n
Graham, who played \u201cTerry\u201d in the cult ABC mockumentary series, reportedly passed away on July 27.<\/p>\n
Mick\u2019s son Paddy confirmed his father\u2019s death via social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of the amazing Mick Graham, also known as Terry from WCBH,\u201d he wrote. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know how loved my father was in this community.<\/p>\n
\u201cRest In Peace to an absolute legend.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on to thank fans for their support during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
Graham\u2019s death comes exactly 20 years since We Can Be Heroes first went to air on the ABC in mid-2005 and introduced five of Lilley\u2019s most famous characters.<\/p>\n
The series follows five fictional \u201cnominees\u201d for Australian of the Year, including Perth mum of two Pat Mullins.<\/p>\n
Graham appeared as Mullin\u2019s beloved husband who coached his wife in her goal of \u201crolling\u201d along the ground from Perth to Uluru for charity. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Throughout the series, Pat experienced some injuries and setbacks during training, including having a gumnut lodged up her nose.<\/p>\n
\u201c(Mick’s) emotions and acting throughout We Can Be Heroes, is genuinely some of the best I have ever seen!,\u201d one fan of the series wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cChris, you are incredible at observing people and bringing them small details and mannerisms to life, But Terry’s acting is just incredible!\u201d<\/p>\n
