(Photo by Tom Hauck\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Before their showdown with the Bulls on Thursday, the Lakers have made a roster move by assigning<\/a> Bufkin to South Bay (G League).<\/p>\n Bufkin has played well in the G League, averaging<\/a> 27.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 52.2% from the field and 43.1% from three-point range in 14 games (13 starts) this season.<\/p>\n That said, he is only averaging 3.0 points per contest in 11 NBA games this year.<\/p>\n ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania wrote (on February 8):<\/a> \u201cThe Los Angeles Lakers are signing guard Kobe Bufkin to a two-year deal, with a team option for the 2026-27 season, sources tell ESPN.
