He has 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists) in 63 games, third on Detroit behind forwards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/lucas-raymond-8482078\" title=\"Lucas Raymond\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lucas Raymond<\/a> (65 points; 20 goals, 45 assists) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/alex-debrincat-8479337\" title=\"Alex DeBrincat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alex DeBrincat<\/a>\u00a0(64 points; 33 goals, 31 assists).<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old also won a gold medal with Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games\u00a0Milano Cortina 2026, where he had three points (two goals, one assist) in six games.<\/p>\n<p>Copp was injured when he got tangled up with Panthers forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/tomas-nosek-8477931\" title=\"Tomas Nosek\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tomas Nosek<\/a>\u00a0after a face-off, with Nosek landing on top of Copp&#8217;s leg at 13:18 of the second period in a 4-3 loss at Florida on Tuesday. He has 37 points (eight goals, 29 assists) in 65 games.<\/p>\n<p>McLellan said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/david-perron-8474102\" title=\"David Perron\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Perron<\/a>\u00a0will also be out for a week with a lower-body injury. The forward, who hasn&#8217;t played since Jan. 20, was acquired in a trade with the Ottawa Senators on March 5.
