Find out more about becoming an Activator and how you can run tennis and padel sessions at venues near you, including exciting programmes like Barclays Free Park Tennis<\/a>, FAGE LTA Youth Go!<\/a> and LTA SERVES<\/a>.<\/p>\n What is an Activator?<\/p>\n Being an Activator isn\u2019t the same as being a Coach, and you don’t need a specific qualification.<\/p>\n Activators help facilitate tennis and padel sessions to help more people play and enjoy the sport.<\/p>\n They run fun, exciting tennis and padel sessions for their local communities in a variety of venues, whether that\u2019s a park, leisure centre, faith centres and more.<\/p>\n Who can become an Activator?<\/p>\n Anyone can be a tennis or padel Activator \u2013 even if you\u2019ve never played or coached the sport before.<\/p>\n All you need is a passion for helping people get active and playing sport. If that sounds like you \u2013 becoming an Activator could be just for you.<\/p>\n How to become an Activator<\/p>\n To become an Activator you will need to sign up as an LTA Advantage member.<\/p>\n Create an account<\/a><\/p>\n If you are already a member then you can sign up to become an Activator by logging into your account using the link below:<\/p>\n Log in to become an Activator<\/a><\/p>\n Once you\u2019re logged in, you\u2019ll need to answer a few questions so we can provide you with the right resources for your Activator role.<\/p>\n You will then need to complete your Activator training and safeguarding course. This can be completed either online or at one of our face-to-face training sessions. Some roles will also require a DBS check. Find your nearest training using our course finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n Once you\u2019ve completed your training you can start delivering sessions in your local community.<\/p>\n Log in to your Activator portal<\/p>\n If you’re already signed up as an Activator, you can access all your training and resources through our portal.<\/p>\n
