Hannah Green in pole position for historic home Open title<\/a><\/p>\nAfter a successful start to a three-year partnership with the South Australian Government, the 2026 Women\u2019s Australian Open has already proven to be a major success, highlighting South Australia as a world-class destination for golf, major events and tourism.<\/p>\n
One of Australia\u2019s most celebrated tournament venues, Royal Adelaide Golf Club will welcome the national women\u2019s Open for a fourth occasion, having previously hosted the championship in 1994, 2017 and 2020.<\/p>\n
As one of the most renowned golf courses in the country, the iconic layout will once again provide a premier stage for the world\u2019s best women\u2019s golfers to compete.<\/p>\n
Golf Australia chief executive James Sutherland said returning to Royal Adelaide in 2027 would allow fans to experience world-class golf at one of the country\u2019s most revered venues.<\/p>\n
\u201cRoyal Adelaide Golf Club is one of Australia\u2019s truly great courses and provides a spectacular stage for the women\u2019s Australian Open,\u201d Sutherland said. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring the event back to the venue and give fans another opportunity to see some of the world\u2019s best women golfers on home soil.<\/p>\n

South Australian premier Peter Malinauskas said: \u201cWe are thrilled to have the Australian Open back in Adelaide, and we have strong ambitions to grow the event and bring more visitors to South Australia to experience a truly world class event.<\/p>\n
