Sebastian Bach is apologizing for stepping out with Christina Applegate while she was dating Brad Pitt. <\/p>\n
\u201c[I] was very surprised when that all hit,\u201d the Skid Row frontman said of Applegate\u2019s recent memoir confession that she ditched Brad Pitt<\/a> at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards to hang out with the rocker.<\/p>\n \u201cI was a single guy on tour, in a band, and I met a lot of girls and I apologize if I hurt her, if I hurt anybody,\u201d he added in comments published by Billboard<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re young you get thrown into the whirlwind of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll, meeting a lot of people and you better hold on tight,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n Sebastian Bach, seen here at a 2022 SXSW event, has apologized for his love triangle incident with Brad Pitt and Christina Applegate. If I hurt anybody, I apologize for it.\u201d<\/p>\n Reps for Pitt and Applegate did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s requests for comment on Friday evening.<\/p>\n Applegate, 54, confesses in her new memoir,\u00a0\u201cYou with the Sad Eyes,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0that she took Pitt to the awards show that year, but found herself pining for the \u201cYouth Gone Wild\u201d singer, 57.<\/p>\n \u201cI had spent all night staring at Bach, who was then a long-haired hunk fronting the band Skid Row,\u201d the \u201cMarried With Children\u201d star writes in the book, which dropped earlier this month. <\/p>\n \u201cIf I hurt anybody, I apologize for it,\u201d Bach told Billboard on Friday. WireImage<\/p>\n \u201cEventually, we agreed that I\u2019d been a kid,\u201d she writes of Pitt, adding that \u201che\u2019d deserved much better.\u201d<\/p>\n In the memoir, she also refers herself to as \u201cthe child who dumped [Pitt] for the lead singer of Skid Row\u201d and quips that the \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood\u201d star \u201cis now THE Brad Pitt, and Sebastian Bach \u2026 well, he still has long hair, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cAnchorman\u201d actress also recalls in the memoir two of Pitt\u2019s \u201cmovie star girlfriends<\/a>\u201d\u00a0later asking \u201cif it was true that I was the girl who left Brad behind at the MTV Video Music Awards. Brad had apparently told both of them separately that he was still mad at me.\u201d<\/p>\n Applegate writes she regretted the incident after learning Bach, pictured here in 2025, was in a relationship and had a young child.
