Kathryn Hahn is Mary Todd Lincoln, but not where you\u2019d think<\/a>. Larry David<\/a> has taken it upon himself to celebrate America\u2019s semisesquicentennial with a Nebbishy People\u2019s History of the United States. Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness (no Oxford comma this is AMERICA \ud83e\udd85\ud83e\udd85\ud83e\udd85) is premiering on June 26 on HBO. The show will last 7 eps, and each episode will have 4 sketches. Barack Obama\u2019s Higher Ground is producing, and Obama will be in a sketch. \u201cOn Curb and on Seinfeld, I was the boss. I\u2019m used to being the boss,\u201d David said at SWSW, as reported by Variety<\/a>. \u201cAnd Obama is also quite used to being the boss.\u201d Apparently the two clashed over notes, which is not surprising if you\u2019ve ever heard anything about David\u2019s creative process.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show\u2019s premiere, David premiered a clip of V-J Day and the shooting of the \u201cSailor Kissing Nurse\u201d photo and exactly how nonconsensual that event actually was<\/a>. Other sketches will include Bill Hader and Kathryn Hahn as Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, Jon Hamm and Sean Hayes as the Wright Brothers, and Larry David\/Jerry Seinfeld<\/a> as Lewis\/Clark<\/a> (look it up).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
