The 36-year-old defenseman was acquired in a trade with the Washington Capitals on March 5 for a conditional first-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft but did not play after Feb. 5 with the Capitals because of a lower-body injury. Carlson, who was unavailable for Anaheim\u2019s 2-0 loss at the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, has 46 points (10 goals, 36 assists) in 55 games this season. \u201cFor our team, it\u2019s a big game,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cIt\u2019s a response game for us to finish the trip right. Obviously, being my first game, I wouldn\u2019t want anything less than that.
