<\/a>The AOC Agon Pro gaming monitor packs a 5-layer tandem OLED display.<\/p>\n

The AOC Agon Pro AGP346UCSD gaming monitor has arrived, boasting an incredibly bright five-layer tandem OLED display. The 34-inch ultra wide monitor also sports a speedy 360 Hz refresh rate, making it a solid choice for immersive fast-paced HDR gaming.<\/p>\n

AOC has unveiled yet another gaming monitor with the Agon Pro branding, dubbed the AGP346UCSD. As the rather unsophisticated name suggests, the monitor is a follow-up to the AG346UCD<\/a>, and features a notable set of exciting improvements. <\/p>\n

AOC Agon Pro: New 360 Hz gaming monitor with five-layer tandem OLED panel<\/p>\n

Like its predecessor, the new Agon Pro also boasts a 34-inch QD-OLED display with a curvature of 1800R. The resolution is also the same, coming in at 3440 x 1440 pixels. However, there are major improvements under the hood. A\u00a0five-layer tandem OLED panel is being utilized, with a peak brightness of a whopping 1,300 nits in small areas for an excellent HDR experience. Clearly, this is a major step up from its predecessor. <\/p>\n

The refresh rate has also been increased to an impressive 360 Hz from 175 Hz. The V-Stripe sub pixel layout would help a lot with text clarity, which was previously rather poor on QD-OLEDs due to noticeable fringing. Needless to say, all the hallmark benefits of OLED panels should be present, such as near-instant response times, true blacks, and great color reproduction.<\/p>\n

Speaking of colors, AOC claims 99% and 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color gamuts respectively, with \u0394E of less than 1. If these claims hold up, the monitor should be excellent for color-sensitive work as well. A healthy array of ports are on offer as well, consisting of the following:<\/p>\n

Dual HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1Triple USB 3.2 Type-AUSB Type-C with DP alt mode, 15W PD<\/p>\n

Built-in speakers are also on offer, and the included stand allows for tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. Being an ultrawide monitor, pivot adjustments are unsurprisingly absent. <\/p>\n

Pricing and availability details are unclear as of this writing. Folks who need a 1440p ultra wide gaming monitor sooner, can check out something like the LG UltraGear 34GX900A-B, currently available for $745<\/a> on Amazon.<\/p>\n
