As a keen runner who\u2019s loved Pok\u00e9mon since playing Pok\u00e9mon Red on my Game Boy, there aren\u2019t many collaborations that could make me more excited than Garmin joining forces with my beloved Pocket Monsters.<\/p>\n

You can now use the best Garmin watches<\/a> with Pok\u00e9mon Sleep, an app that rewards a good night\u2019s rest with Pok\u00e9mon to fill out a special Sleep Style Dex, and that\u2019s not the end of the good news for fans of both brands.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the partnership, two free Pok\u00e9mon watch faces are now available on Garmin watches, though there is a catch: only Garmin watches with AMOLED displays can get the new faces.<\/p>\n

Link your Garmin with Pok\u00e9mon Sleep<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Sleep is one of the very few Pok\u00e9mon apps that I haven\u2019t already tried, and that\u2019s partly because I wear a Garmin Forerunner 970,<\/a> and the sleep tracking didn\u2019t link to the app as it does with an Apple Watch.<\/p>\n

You can track your sleep using your smartphone for Pok\u00e9mon Sleep by placing it next to you on your mattress, but that seemed both a hassle and likely to be inaccurate.<\/p>\n

Now that Garmin watches are compatible, you can link Pok\u00e9mon Sleep with Garmin Connect so your sleep stats are synced over, and I can start collecting Pok\u00e9mon in yet another app.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m excited to start using Pok\u00e9mon Sleep, but probably even more thrilled by the new faces, because I love trying out the best Garmin watch faces <\/a>in general.<\/p>\n

One of the new faces is called \u2018Snorlax & Friends\u2019 face and features the famously sleepy Pok\u00e9mon along with the Kanto starters and Pikachu.<\/p>\n

My preferred face of the two is the \u201cI Choose You\u201d face, which allows you to select from 48 different Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

With both faces, the Pok\u00e9mon shown will adjust their pose throughout the day based on the Body Battery measurement from your Garmin, so they\u2019ll get sleepier as your energy levels drop.<\/p>\n

While regrettably my own favorite Pok\u00e9mon \u2014 Poliwag \u2014 is not available, my kids have been cycling through the various Eeveelutions on my watch face.<\/p>\n

You can show several stats alongside your preferred Pok\u00e9mon, so it\u2019s still a functional watch face as well, and well worth installing if you\u2019re also a Garmin\/Pok\u00e9mon fan.<\/p>\n
