A bold new hotel has opened in Perth featuring 121-rooms, a pool deck, wellness areas, event spaces and a Greek restaurant called Farra.<\/p>\n
The official opening of Hyde Perth on Pier Street brought together industry leaders, tourism partners, investors and media for an evening that celebrated the arrival of a bold new cultural and hospitality destination.<\/p>\n
Guests were welcomed poolside at Farra Pool & Bar with vinyl-led beats, arrival cocktails and roaming canap\u00e9s. The atmosphere balanced sophistication with the signature Hyde energy, offering attendees an early taste of the hotel\u2019s social spirit.<\/p>\n
The event was opened with a Welcome to Country, followed by speeches from government, tourism and ownership representatives, acknowledging the significance of the moment and the role Hyde Perth will play in shaping the city\u2019s evolving hospitality and cultural landscape.<\/p>\n
Following the speeches, guests were invited to explore the hotel through a series of curated small-group walkthroughs which showcased key spaces across the property \u2014 from guest rooms to event areas \u2014 offering an exclusive look at the design, experience and ambition behind the project.<\/p>\n
Born from Hyde\u2019s global lineage in the 2000s LA club scene, guests can expect more than the usual hotel experience as Hyde is all about homing in on the creative community with DJ residencies, live sets, poolside gatherings and wellness sessions.<\/p>\n
Hyde Perth general manager Rhys Challenger said Perth\u2019s growing cultural and hospitality scene made it the \u201cnatural home\u201d for Hyde\u2019s first purpose-built Australian hotel.<\/p>\n
