CAMBRIDGE, Mass. \u2013 Harvard men’s tennis will compete in a trio of matches in California for its annual Spring Break trip beginning against San Diego State University on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m. ET. The Crimson will also take on San Diego on March 19 at 1:00 p.m. ET and UC Santa Barbara on March 22 at 3:00 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

\n\tHarvard’s match on Tuesday will be the team’s first match in over two weeks, having last taken on Pepperdine and Bryant on March 1.
\n\tThe Crimson has started its season 9-6. Of those nine wins, three have come against Big Ten opponents including a ranked win over No. 24 Michigan State.
\n\tIn its last time out, the Crimson narrowly fell to No. 20 Pepperdine before bouncing back against the Bryant Bulldogs.
\n\tThe Crimson remains as one of the top-50 programs in the country, most recently checking in at No. 47 in the ITA Division I Men’s Team Rankings.
\n\tHarvard has three student-athletes represented in the singles poll. Rohan Murali<\/a> leads the way as the No. 68 nationally ranked singles player. Nathan Blokhin<\/a> (No. 89) and Benjamin Privara<\/a> (No. 101) also rank inside the top 125.
\n\tMurali has had a dominant start to his junior campaign with a team-best record of 10-3 in the spring season. The California native has played primarily at the No. 2 spot but defeated Maxi Homberg (Pepperdine) in straight sets at the top singles spot last time out.
\n\tNathan Blokhin<\/a> has also been shining for the Crimson during his first year in Cambridge. The rookie is 8-3 in the dual season and 16-7 overall and has consistently been a ranked singles player throughout the spring season.
\n\tMasato Perera<\/a> looked strong against the Waves as he recorded the other point for Harvard with a strong straight set victory over David Fix (Pepperdine) at the No. 4 singles spot.
\n\tThe duo of Murali and Kolos Kincses<\/a> has been unstoppable for the Crimson all year long. The pairing is a near-perfect 11-1 throughout the spring season while playing primarily at the No. 2 spot.
\n\tPerera and James MacDonald<\/a> are also consistently providing wins for Harvard at court three. The duo currently has a record of 7-2.

\n\tHarvard leads 16-5 in the all-time series versus San Diego State. All of the Aztecs’ victories came between 2003-2009 as Harvard has won the last ten contests. Additionally, Harvard hasn’t lost a point to the foe in the last three meetings.
\n\tThe Crimson trails 7-10-1 versus San Diego and is looking to snap a three-match skid against the powerhouse. The Toreros currently rank as the No. 14 team in the country.
\n\tHarvard will wrap up its weekend with another ranked battle against No. 30 UC Santa Barbara. The Crimson is 10-2 all-time against the Gauchos and won the meeting two seasons ago, 4-3.
