He&#8217;s shooting 50% from the floor, 38% from 3-point range and 90% from the free throw line in 53 games.<\/p>\n<p>Leonard can\u2019t afford to miss any more than three games to remain in contention for the league&#8217;s major awards. Players are required to appear in at least 65 of 82 regular-season games to be eligible for MVP, All-NBA and All-Defensive honors.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Tyronn Lue hopes Leonard isn&#8217;t out more than a few days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really don&#8217;t know yet,\u201d he said before the game.<\/p>\n<p>John Collins was set to start in Leonard&#8217;s place against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, who are second in the West.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u00a0Kawhi Leonard\u00a0is out with a sprained left ankle as the Los Angeles Clippers chase a play-in berth.
