This news saddens me. RIP Bernie,\u201d one fan wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cRip Bernie and condolences to you Grace and Euroglider families. Grew up with your music and still listen to it today,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">One friend emphasised his care for others as well as his musical abilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cHe was an artistic genius ! Im glad he was a genuine people person, these be sad days but we celebrate his life of joy ! Rip Bernie !!<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Bernie was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024 where he underwent treatment in WA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The cancer treatment was successful, however last year the cancer started to spread to his organs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The gifted musician passed away in Pallative care on March 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A beloved Perth musician has died after losing his battle with throat cancer.
