If the DR Congo international arrives at N17, it would almost certainly spell the end of Richarlison\u2019s Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> career, even though some sources have indicated that Richarlison is keen to stay at Spurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to reports over recent days, the Tottenham striker is attracting interest from Brazil<\/a>, and it has now emerged that one Brasileiro Serie A side are pushing ahead with talks regarding the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n

According to a report in Terra<\/a>, Palmeiras are making a bold move to take Richarlison<\/a> back to Brazil.<\/p>\n

It is revealed that the club\u2019s president, Leila Pereira, is personally leading negotiations with the North London club for the former Everton man. Pereira has also been allegedly speaking to the Brazil international for two weeks to convince him.<\/p>\n

Her direct involvement is seen as evidence of Palmeiras\u2019s aggressive strategy as they aim to beat the competition to Richarlison\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the outlet asserts that Tottenham are demanding a whopping \u00a355m for the striker, but Palmeiras believe they could approach that figure.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian side have received big prize money as a result of reaching the quarterfinal of the Club World Cup, and thus have the resources to conclude a deal for the Spurs<\/a> man.<\/p>\n

How Palmeiras hope to persuade Richarlison<\/p>\n

Terra explain that Palmeiras had already failed with a move for Richarlison earlier this year, but this time, their approach is more ambitious and structured.<\/p>\n

They hope that their newfound financial muscle and their clear sporting vision will help persuade the Spurs star to greenlight a move to Allianz Parque.<\/p>\n

Additionally, they are also prepared to make Richarlison one of the highest-paid players in South American football if he agrees to the move.<\/p>\n

The publication adds that Flamengo and Fluminense are reportedly monitoring the striker\u2019s situation, but Palmeiras believe they have the edge in the race.<\/p>\n
