{"id":546713,"date":"2026-03-17T18:41:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T18:41:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/546713\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T18:41:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T18:41:21","slug":"garry-rogers-motorsport-re-signs-james-moffat-lachlan-evennett-tom-davies-for-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/546713\/","title":{"rendered":"Garry Rogers Motorsport re-signs James Moffat, Lachlan Evennett, Tom Davies for 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A TRIO of familiar faces will round out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-354-Garry-Rogers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garry Rogers<\/a> Motorsport\u2019s 2026 Trans Am driver line-up.<\/p>\n<p>Having previously announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/smith-signs-with-garry-rogers-motorsport\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the recruitment of Jack Smith<\/a>, GRM \u2013 which has made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/garry-rogers-motorsport-commits-to-major-change\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a wholesale off-season switch from Mustangs to Camaros<\/a> \u2013 has now confirmed the retention of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-24-James-Moffat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Moffat<\/a>t, Lachlan Evennett and Tom Davies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJames has been a near-constant part of GRM since 2016, Garry always had a lot of time for him,\u201d said GRM director Barry Rogers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way he goes about it, we know he\u2019s an imposing figure on the racetrack, but on the other side his attitude and knowledge around the team is a huge attribute and a help to our young guns and all the crew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTom and Lachlan coming back for another year, it\u2019s great for both of them to have a consistent environment to build upon.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Returning-Trio-GRM-Moffat-Evennett-Davies-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-251127\"  \/>James Moffat, Lachlan Evennett and Tom Davies.
