Bug Out has returned to Pok\u00e9mon Go! This year you can enjoy the Bug Out research tasks and bonuses, all the while hunting down the newly released Blipbug<\/a> and shiny<\/a> Sizzlipede. Just remember: Bug Out ends on Monday 23rd March at 8pm (local time), so make sure you get all of your bug hunting down before this date.<\/p>\n

Here are the Bug Out event-exclusive field research tasks:<\/p>\n

Catch 5 Pok\u00e9mon reward – 10 Pok\u00e9 Balls, 5 Great Balls or 3 Ultra Balls
\nCatch 10 Pok\u00e9mon reward – Nincada encounter
\nCatch 15 Pok\u00e9mon reward – Plant Cloak Burmy, Sand Cloak Burmy or Trash Cloak Burmy encounter
\nCatch 25 Pok\u00e9mon reward – Volbeat or Illumise encounter
\nWin a raid reward – Durant encounter
\nTrade a Pok\u00e9mon reward – Karrablast or Shelmet encounter<\/p>\n

Volbeat and Illumise can be earned from the event-exclusive research tasks.<\/p>\n

Bug Out bonuses<\/p>\n

Shiny Sizzlipede and shiny Centiskorch can now be found in Pok\u00e9mon Go!
\nShiny Paras, shiny Combee, shiny Cutiefly have an increased chance of appearing at active Lure Modules<\/a>.
\nDifferent Pok\u00e9mon will be attracted to regular Lure Modules during the event on different days:<\/p>\n

\nThere’s a lot to do in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a> outside of the current event! From the Go Battle League<\/a>, Remote Trading<\/a>, Pok\u00e9Stop Showcase<\/a>, Routes<\/a> and Max Battles<\/a>. Don’t forget to catch rare Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> while you’re at it.

Blipbug debuts in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/p>\n

The release of Blipbug, Dottler and Orbeetle is the main attraction of the Bug Out event! These little bugs hail from the Galar region, making them part of Gen 8<\/a>, and Orbeetle has its own Giganatamax<\/a> form. Plan on adding them to your Pok\u00e9dex?
